Nokuit

With a series of releases, Nokuit has developed his own cosmology that engages with both the psychological and the sociopolitical. For his latest show, he expands this idiosyncratic approach by using biblical allegories to explore contemporary unease. An example: “The sky tore open, armies of angels on horses swept across the earth. Their eyes were a flame of fire, and from their mouths came a sword that pierced the flesh. A rain of stones fell, satellites and power towers melted in the burning sun. A beautiful melody screamed.”
