At the Rabbithole Theater in Essen and the Neue Musikzentrale next door, we can expect experimental obstinacy through improvisation between man and machine. In her performance, Hamburg-based musician Kris Kuldkepp explores new sound possibilities with double bass and live electronics, deliberately deconstructing conventional musical forms.

The violinist and singer Mia Zabelka from Vienna deals live with the communication between body and sound. Her “automatic playing” expands the potential of her instruments to such an extent that the violin itself becomes an electronic sound generator.

Gida Labus from Hungary closes the evening with an immersive interplay of sound objects, electronics and synthetic voices.
