As an artist, she sees her role as a storyteller who uses sound to weave narratives that transcend language and culture. Whether through intricate layers of melody or subtle shifts in rhythm, her aim is to evoke emotion, spark conversation and stimulate the imagination.
Bio
The Vienna-based Italian sound artist is deeply rooted in a broad spectrum of artistic activities ranging from performance and composition to research and innovation. Her music and live performances range from carefully crafted arrangements to impromptu improvisations: fragmented but rhythmically captivating beats, manipulations of spatial perception and psychoacoustic phenomena. She explores the artistic potential of digital networks and digital instruments and how they change under the influence of environmental data. Forciniti performs at music festivals such as Wien Modern, Skaņu Mežs, Ars Electronica, Unsound or CTM. In 2022, she was selected for SHAPE+, a platform for groundbreaking music and audiovisual art.
