How do we tell a story about our technological future nowadays, when the future visions of the past have already become reality and future visions of the present are mostly shaped by the thought of profit?

Can and must we overcome future clichés in order to make a non-dystopian tomorrow possible? How do we deal with the habits of seeing and hearing that determine thought patterns and imagination? Could AI help us experience ourselves not only as biological beings but also as interconnected entities? Songs of Cyborgoise are a speculation on the post-dystopian era – “the Age of Aquarius” – of a near future in which our capability for inspired, collaborative thinking and acting will be rediscovered. Told from the perspective of an artificial intelligence, BBB_ allows us to see the world from the viewpoint of a fictional, newly born, digital and globally connected entity and explore all our feelings, fears and hopes.

BBB_ this digitally advanced interdisciplinary project eclectically combines music, performance, design and contemporary philosophy. Alla Popp and Alex Traka work with live performances and installations, experimenting with digital voices, stimulating music and interactive visuals. Each of their pieces is complemented by its own scenography and atmosphere. With the help of digital technologies and an immersive spatial world, the artist collective confronts the audience with both utopian and dystopian situations – the boundaries between the human and the digital seem to blur into one another.
