Xiao Fu x Andzejus Voroneckis

In 2026, BLAUES RAUSCHEN will continue to present individual artistic statements and positions that offer creative alternatives to the largely uncontrollable spread of corporate AI. Music, dance, sign language and artificial intelligence enter into a circular exchange in the inclusive multimedia performance ‘Fluidity’. Composer Xiao Fu and deaf dancer Andzejus Voroneckis use sensor technology, vibro-tactile technologies and AI to translate musical vibrations into movement, gestures into sound and bodies into interfaces. Presented last autumn at the Musikfonds symposium ‘Composer in the Loop,’ among other venues, ‘Fluidity’ asks fundamental questions about authorship, perception and creativity in the age of learning systems – not theoretically, but physically, as a real-time process between humans, machines and space.

Xiao Fu is a composer and musician of Chinese origin, trained at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre, with a focus on gesture-based instrument control, interactive performances and AI-supported composition. Her works combine acoustic and electronic music with performative and transmedial approaches.

Andzejus Voroneckis is a deaf artist from Lithuania who has been living in Hamburg since 2008 and works as a dancer, sign language poet and performer. On stage, he explores the success and failure of communication; sign language is not a means to an end, but poetic material.
