Pod Blotz is the musical alias of US visual artist Suzy Poling. Poling uses her on-stage music persona as a vehicle for all kinds of experimental audiovisual work. Telling extravagant stories through sonic explorations, performative gestures of catharsis, research of light studies and geology, painting, sculpture experimentation, and experiential installation Pod Blotz brings a moody, emotional sound to the stage of the BLAUES RAUSCHEN festival. She then oscillates between Avantgarde Futurism, IDM, Experimental and Abstract Techno, the kind you only find in the most select clubs.

Suzy Poling is a rightfully self-proclaimed polymath par excellence. Not limited to one medium, she expresses herself in photography and video, in installation, sculpture, performance and sound art − and also as a musician. As such, she repeatedly makes paradigmatic reference to her art, narrative strands are repeated in both genres and thus continuously write a superior body of work. Her first Pod Blotz LP was released in 2002 in DIY self-publishing style, followed by 24 further releases since then – on cassette and on underground as well as on major labels.
