Fedde ten Berge

Amsterdam based sound artist Fedde ten Berge sees sound art as an interdisciplinary art form in which sound is the focus, but in which dialogue with other artistic disciplines is of immense importance. Fedde ten Berge is currently working autonomously, focusing on the intersection of art and technology. His practice builds on a background as artistic coordinator at the STEIM research center in Amsterdam and as a lecturer in electronic instrument design, sensor processing, and programming at various conservatories. In projects such as Of Nature and Things, ten Berge explores the sonic properties of materials such as ceramics, blending natural and artificial elements into interactive sound sculptures.

In his performances, ten Berge relies on self-developed instruments and sound installations that transport the audience into immersive soundscapes − for BLAUES RAUSCHEN, he performs a groovy club set with his Pseudo Random Pulse Voyager and the Thrice Truncated Triangle.
