- De_terrestris
Man’s alienated relationship with the earth has come more and more into focus in recent years. Much of the ecological crisis we find ourselves in today can be traced back to this.
De_terrestris a poetic observation of the underground that connects, supports and nourishes us. Supposedly static things are constantly in motion. Processes take place that transform the ground. Material is decomposed. Time passes. Layer by layer, second by second. I dig up sonic finds, condense compositionally, search for forces that lie hidden. For resources and feelings that slumber deep below. The ear listens to the earth, which changes the old and brings forth the new.
